Really wonderful experience, a family restaurant that is clean and well run, service is excellent, food was absolutely delicious ... My husband got a burger and I was jealous until I got my halibut sliders! Very fresh ingredients, very clean restaurant, absolutely worth a visit! My mom's homemade cream puff was out of this world!!

Every review that mentions how amazing the donuts are still don't do justice to the donuts. By far the best cake donuts we have ever had. The chocolate cake donuts are in a league of their own but the blueberry cake are phenomenal as well. I'm so glad my wife found this place on Google and listened to the reviews!

Food was great. I had the Lobster Melt sandwich with a cup of clam chowder. The chowder was not very thick but it was loaded with clams. lobster melt was very unique and tasty. My wife had the Turkey BLT which she enjoyed. Topped of with carrot cake.

Great place for lunch! We stumbled onto this restaurant after visiting Acadia National Park- great little find! The lobster melt and clam chowder is a must! So good!! Don’t leave either without having a pice of their blueberry pie and ice cream! It is the best I’ve ever eaten! If they hadn’t sold out of a their whole pies, I would be going home with one! A definite stop if you are in the area!

Me and my crew definitely enjoyed this place! We want a sandwich lunch with maybe a cup of soup and that exactly what we found here! Everything we at was delicious hot and fresh! The clam chowder was amazing! Different than I had ever had but it was great! Definitely give this place a try!

Family owned restaurant with a very good service. We had chowder and 3 kind of lobster rolls. They are bake their own bread , so you have a good selection. The rolls were great, my favorite being the Lobster melt, nice combination with the warm melted cheese. Perfect place to pick up a dessert as well. The blueberry donut and the brownie were absolutely amazing

Good french dip, excellent clam chowder, great service. Baked goods of all types were delicious. Appreciate the quieter atmosphere over the Bar Harbor area. Good prices for a tourism oriented area. Best food in the area. Could maybe use one less table on the patio/deck

I e been coming to th is area for years... more than 10... we make it a point to head to Colonel’s for the most amazing donuts ever made... first it was the chocolate glazed and now the blueberry glazed.... We are on our 3 dozen... my family is addicted. The restaurant is just as delicious. French dip on their homemade bread. They have Anadamma bread in the bakery.... Delicious from one end to the other
